Gyan Ka Bhandar...Aapke Dwaarr !

I am home alone and had some gyaan in me that I wanted to share …Monsieur H is out of town and a bit caught up so I thought of penning down my and showing my gyaani side.. Basically about how self-motivated people are happy and then success comes their way immaterial of the external circumstances. Any lasting motivation must ultimately come from within you, from a sense of purpose that forces you to take action. Make your dream big enough, make it meaningful enough, and you cannot help but take the actions necessary to achieve it. It’s important to develop a sincere admiration and appreciation for the great accomplishments of others, and it will encourage you to take the actions necessary for your own great accomplishments. You can find much motivation in works of art, in inspiring performances, in great books, in successful businesses and in anything that displays excellence. Appreciate the results of motivation in others, and it will serve to motivate you. Admire and appreciate what ...

PeeeTeeeMmmmm..

PTM is more than just a workplace, it is the people that give it soul. My colleagues have been like family to me ,that have made the job truly enjoyable. This resulted in laughter and jokes that are still evident on the soft-boards. The “Girl Posse” at a time when we had all Female and we scared the few boys. Well, a bunch of my colleagues quit in the last few weeks. I had to say goodbye to all of them who made me smile here over the last few (and more) years. While I continue to be at PTM. The life during the world cup and having all of us around the one screen, and watching India Win, the non-stop eating sessions , converting everybody around to Gujju..talking about food for hours...brainstorming..making presentations..and so much more. Spent more time with colleagues then we did with our husbands , parents boyfriends etc. I would like to put out a special mention to Vin for picking the right people for the job here and it turned into a real family. We have been through all of the h...

Bad , Very Bad Blogger

I feel like im a really bad blogger for not posting for so long. That I've been busy I hardly have to mention but I'm not sure it's an excuse. Or is it? I don't know where this month went actually. It just totally disappeared. It was Monday, which I spent most of the day looking at presentations without being able to do much about it. Tuesday came and Blogger went on strike. Wednesday and Thursday Blogger goes on light strike again but I finally manage to work some. And today - where did today go? It is so freaking hot here right...lol but that is no excuse for not blogging. At times i am so random na..Well first the blogs and then the talks now!!

Words...

A very short post here. My head is full of many things today. But I only just want to share one thought that occurred to me today: Words are just words. It is we who fill them with meaning.... and I wondered to myself after I thought that, "just exactly what kind of meaning is it that I want my words to have?"

In Love and How- WORLD CHAMPIONS 2011

I was never so cricket crazy till I met Monsieur H. I haven't seen anybody as passionate as him while watching cricket. Coming back to the point – This year I followed World Cup thoroughly and I was super-excited too. We watched the world cup in a pub nearby and it was hell lot of fun. Cheering for team India and then seeing India win at the end when it looked somewhere at the start of our batting that it would be difficult to overcome the target set to us by the Lankans. But we did it and we did it in style with Dhoni hitting the ball in to the crowd for a huge six. I never got to understand as to why people lauded Sachin so much after the match and not Dhoni as much but then I got to know as to what Sachin meant to India, to Cricket. My husband as a true fan told me a lot about him as to why people love him so much. Kohli summed it all, that since Sachin had carried the burden of India on his shoulders for 21 years it was time for him to be taken on the shoulder. I had met Cricke...

These are a few of my favorite things ...

We’ve all read those inspirational write-ups about how the best things in life are free and because I have no concept of originality whatsoever, I made my own list. Present-o, The Best Things in Life are Free, 1. Going home late at night from a long day of work (and a little night-out) and snuggle beside your husband and feeling aws-so-ggod! 2. A hug from Monsieur H when my brain is fried 3. Garam Garam bhajiya and maagi on a rainy day 4. Staring at the pretty stars in the sky at night. 5. Waiting for the aircraft to land at the Mumbai airport when Monsieur H comes back from his tours. 6. Going to the supermarket for a quick grocery 7. Chatting about anything under the sun with your best friend 8. Visiting my favorite uncle and aunty in Delhi 9. Troubling my sisters till they get bugged with me 10. Laughing uncontrollably when somebody’s bugged at me Now its your turn batau batau ;-)
