Family ties\attachment is one of the most important aspect in a childs upbringing. Off late I have come across a lot of people who look , sound , dress well behaved , but don't respect elders. Their own. These people are very self-centered. They become so. They disregard their own grand parents.

I feel very few fortunate individuals get the privilege to grow around them. Your grandparents love you unconditionally. They have nothing to gain from you. Its pure love and warmth. I totally can't stand people who disregard that. Probably they don't even realize the importance of it.
